UX DESIGN • Visual System
In 2025, LinkedIn’s learning portal for marketing on the platform (aka LinkedIn Marketing Academy) was in need of some TLC. After a few rounds of curriculum changes and issues with over-customization, the site had gone from a well intended, bespoke learner journey to an overwhelming cadre of courses with an outdated aesthetic.
The original ask was an updated visual identity. Together with the team, we quickly determined that approaching this as a bespoke sub-brand and delivering some new thumbnail images to the existing site wouldn’t solve anything. We needed to rethink the user experience, emphasize clarity on what we’re offering, and bring the visual language up to date with the latest in our evolving brand identity.
With a focus on the primary benefit of this offering — accreditation of your marketing skills with badges & certifications — I crafted a new content experience and visual system rooted in brand recognition.
