For the launch of LinkedIn’s Stories product feature (a short-lived product feature), I created a library of stickers to help professionals tell their stories. As part of our larger member expression creative exploration, I was tasked to help establish a visual system that would feel cohesive while still providing room for a range of expression and personalization.
Artist Partnership: D’Ara Nazaryan
To celebrate Black History Month, we partnered with artist and designer D’Ara Nazaryan to create a set of stickers celebrating Black professionals and help facilitate important conversations on the platform. For International Women’s Day 2021, amidst the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on the careers of women, we partnered with artist and designer Sylvia Pericles to create stickers that speak to the moment. For Pride 2021, we partnered with designer Shanée Benjamin to create stickers for our library that would help foster meaningful conversation on the platform, rather than recycling typical corporate Pride platitudes. Shanée’s behind the scenes video was edited by the team at Whitehouse Post.
