GE Minds + Machines 2017

my role: lead environmental graphic designer

For GE’s 5th annual Minds + Machines conference, I was tasked with creating a visual identity for the event that built on the equity of the years past while implementing the brand elements in a new and meaningful way. Created while working with Manifold.

For the final visual identity, I developed a system of overlapping color with photography and that featured data points mapped over machinery with flow lines tying it all together to visually communicate the connected relationship of GE’s innovative digital technologies with their real-world counterparts. I then translated this system across the large scale place-making graphics, wayfinding signage, and small scale touch points throughout Moscone Center.
